Welcome to Carnarvon High School in the middle of the Karoo. The school closest to the SKA (Square kilometre array telescope) We are a Dinaledi school who concentrate on maths and science.
VISIE:
Hoërskool Carnarvon sal daarna strewe om ons plek as skool in die brëe gemeenskap vol te staan. Om hardwerkende leerders te kweek met hoë morele waardes, doelgerig en gedissiplineerd is en wat trots op hul skool en land sal wees. Wat gebalanseerde burgers sal lewer wat presteer op akademiese, sport en kulturele gebied.
SKOOLMISSIE:
· Ons sal streef om ‘n dinamiese skool daar te stel wat die reg van elke leerder tot basiese onderwys te respekteer.Ons sal strewe na akademiese voortreflikheid deur ‘n gesonde milieu van gedissiplineerde onderrig en leer daar te stel.
· Ons sal strewe om ouers betrokke te maak dat hulle ‘n integrale rol in die ontwikkeling en die uitbouing van ons skool en leerders sal speel.
· Ons sal strewe om respek by ons leerders in te prent vir hulself, hul skool, gemeenskap en die land en sy simbole.

SCHOOL NEWS
The school welcomed all the learners back to school in the new environment Covid 19 pose to us.
All grades are back at school and it is important for parents to assist learners in caching up with their academic work.
Well done to the Matric class of 2022 on your achievements.
Obtaining a 83.2 overall pass with a 52% achieving bachelors under trying and difficult conditions.
