Grade 8 + 9

1 ) 50 % in Afrikaans Home Language

2 ) 40 % in English , Mathematics

3 ) 40 % in three other subjects

4 ) 30 % in one other subject

5 ) 1 Failed subject allowed

 

Grades 10-12 (from 2008 )

1 ) 40 % in Afrikaans Home Language

2 ) 40 % in any two subjects

3 ) 30 % in three other subjects

4 ) Maximum 1 Failed Subject with evidence of portfolio in a school -based assessment document
